Following is a comprehensive listing of SRV "import" CD's which are known to exist, including complete track listings for all of the titles. An HTML version of this file, including graphics for the CD cover art, is located at Bob Willmot's website (http://www.willmot.com/SRV/). Additionally, a condensed version of this list (without the track listings) is also available at Bob's site for those who desire a more portable version for taking to CD shows, etc. Each CD title is listed alphabetically, and any title that begins with an article (such as "The", "A", "An", etc.) is listed by the word that follows. Regarding track listings, I have tried to list the tracks as they appear on the CD packaging, and I've added columns for the timing info and any notes that are applicable (such as correct song titles, guest artists, etc.) The date of this list will be changed whenever it is updated, so you'll know if you have the latest revision. Also, I've included a section which lists boot titles for other artists on which Stevie is known to make an appearance. If you know of any other additions or corrections that need to be made to this list, please send them to Derrick Sorensen (derrick@seasil.com) or Bob Willmot (bob@willmot.com) and we'll make the necessary changes. Dallas Sound Labs, Dallas, mar-apr85 (tracks 1,4-6,8-14) ("Soul To Soul" sessions) The tracks above have been verified to be identical to certain tracks on the "Soul To Soul" sessions tapes, which contain over 13 hours of material. The remaining tracks cannot be matched to any material on the tapes, so they may be from different studio sessions, possibly the "Couldn't Stand The Weather" sessions. The liner notes incorrectly attribute some of the "STS" tracks to the "CSTW" sessions, so the recording dates listed therein cannot be trusted. Tracks 4,6,8,11-13 can be found on the "Life Without You" 4CD set. Tracks 1,11,13,14 can be found on the "Unsurpassed Masters" set. <track#/title> <time> <notes> 1> Say What 4:25 2> Come On (Part III) 5:15 3> You'll Be Mine 3:52 4> Empty Arms 3:24 5> Instrumental #1 2:42 6> Instrumental #2 3:56 7> May I Have A Talk With You 5:48 8> Little Wing / > Third Stone From the Sun 18:56 9> The Sky Is Crying 1:27 10> The Sky Is Crying 2:01 11> The Sky Is Crying 4:36 12> Boot Hill 3:28 13> Come On (Part III) 5:51 instrumental 14> Say What 8:04 <> CD 4: Performing Arts Center, Saratoga, NY, 30jun85 (77:07, 10 tracks) Track listings on cover are totally screwed-up, the correct track listing is in the notes column below. Pull-out liner notes include a list of certain SRV gigs from 1977 to 1990 (which may have been culled from Craig Keyzer's similar list), plus a photo of the helicopter crash, presumably for the morbidly curious. Also issued in CD-R format by [Hawg Leg Records, HL128/129] (Luxembourg, 1997) with different photos on CD cover. Average audience recording with good sound mix. The vocals are clear and loud but the bass guitar is quite saturated and makes the music difficult to listen to sometimes, especially on "Boilermaker" and the tracks that follow. The mix changes a little in the middle of the show and when Lou Ann sings. Probably from a very low generation master as there's nearly no noise and hiss. <track#/title> <time> <notes> 1> Instrumental 2:42 incomplete - cuts in 2> Jeff's Boogie 2:28 "Rude Mood" 3> True Love Is Gone 6:22 "Dirty Pool" 4> I'm Crying 3:28 5> May I Have A Talk With You 3:59 "Love Me Darlin'" 6> Love Struck Baby 2:24 7> All Your Love (I Miss Loving) 5:57 8> Texas Flood 5:51 9> So Excited / intro for Lou Ann Barton > You Can Have My Husband 5:26 10> TI-NI-NEE-NI-NU 3:16 11> I'll Change 4:15 12> Scratch My Back 3:31 13> Sugar Coated Love / > Scuttle Buttin' 5:33 outro theme for Lou Ann 14> Jazzy Instrumental 3:00 "Boilermaker" 15> Gonna Miss Me 3:20 "Empty Arms" 16> Don't Lose Your Good Thing 6:50 "Done Lost Your Good Thing Now" 17> Pride And Joy 3:30 <> CD 2: [DL009] (71:03, 16 tracks) Live at The Cascade Room in The Knickerbocker Cafe, Westerly, RI, 22nov79 Tracks 9-15 include Lou Ann Barton on vocals. Very good sound quality, possibly from a soundboard source. The sound mix is good but the crowd noise and guitar are on one side with the bass and drums on the other. Overall, the sound is excellent compared to the first volume (above) even if the voice and bass guitar are slightly saturated.
